SOLC Transformation Fellowship -Welcome

SOLC Transformation Fellowship provides services to inmates and their families and advocates for criminal justice reform for inmates who were sentenced as juveniles.

The SOLC Transformation Fellowship was formed to assist and support those who are incarcerated, along with their families and loved ones, and those in the community who have been impacted by mass incarceration. The United States has the highest incarceration rate in the world yet 95% of those who are incarcerated will eventually be released back into society, around 700,000 each year.

The SOLC Transformation Fellowship offers hope, encouragement, and the tools to help incarcerated individuals come home and become healthy, happy, productive members of their communities.

The SOLC Transformation Fellowship believes that rehabilitation, support and Love are the bedrock to successful reentry and to the reduction of recidivism, which makes our communities stronger and safer.

“Treat a man as he is, and he will remain as he is. Treat a man as he could be, and he will become what he should be.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

The SOLC Transformation Fellowship advocates for alternatives to incarceration for juveniles and believes that no child should ever enter an adult prison.

The SOLC Transformation Fellowship acknowledges that children are developmentally different than adults and our society recognizes this. Children are more receptive to rehabilitation and they should not be treated as adults in the criminal justice system.
